God will direct you when you will seek him personally

“Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before…and the Lord will do amazing things among you” (Joshua 3:4-5).

New roads, new opportunities sounds fun right? Not always. With new comes a fear of unknown. Our generation is more adventurous and we all love exploring new things. New restaurants, new jobs, new places. Even some of you might as well write in your resumes that you love making new friends and meeting new people.

For me newness is not so much fun as it is an uncomfort to me. I like my life to be stable and not so much adventurous. I have hard time coping with life changes and that too if there are major ones like motherhood, nurturing those little ones as they grow old, seeing their mood change and their ways change. Sometimes I even cry this prayer in my marriage that I want to go back to my dating days where we had more time just for each other. But the truth is that life changes every single day. We change, our thinking, our way of living and our way of seeing things change. When I came to know lord, he helped me accept these life changes. One day when I was talking to lord , he clearly spoke to me that we are not changing but we are evolving. Change may sound like bad but evolution is not bad. Evolution is a way of forwarding in life. We are evolving to be better humans for future. God is evolving us so that we can be better wives to our husbands, better mother's to our kids, better employees to our organization. And when you believe in this you will eventually get to see that all change is for good and we should really not fearful of any change in our lives.

Read the above scripture again. Since you have never been this way before, god will do amazing things for you. Meditate on this truth and see every change in your life as an opportunity to walk more closely with God. During all the life changes, rest assured that God is with you and he is lighting your path and he has intentions of doing good and only good for you.

Prayer: Lord when life takes me on new roads, new levels and new seasons, rather than shrinking back in fear, help me to put my faith in your leading trusting you completely that you will do amazing things through me.
