Be still before God- Making those tough calls

" Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him, do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes"

Have you ever been in a situation when you have to chose from two options and both of them seems morally right to you. This is the worst situation to be in.

It is so easy  to chose when you have one right and one wrong option in front of you. You chose what is right and move forward in peace.  But the difficulty is when both the ways are right and you get to chose the best from them.

This is recently happening with me deciding my next career move and also balancing my family ( I am a new mom). Both the options are right. With the family expansion, the financial responsibility has increased on me and my husband shoulders and it only makes sense to increase our source of income. On the other hand, the mama in me is under a guilt of leaving our kids and working at the age when they need parental love and nurturing.

Sometimes life throws such decisions at you when both are right for your family and you get to take the tough call of which way to go. At such places in our life, we need to rely on God to provide in whatever path you have chosen for yourself.

Finally I have chosen to serve my family over my career. So my prayer to God is that he calms my husband heart when the entire burden of our family finances is on his shoulder and also as a wife gives me  wisdom to manage the finances well. I pray to lord that he covers this mama in love that it overflows through me and reaches out to my kids and husband in a profound way. Remember whatever you decide, God is alway there as your biggest cheer leader to clap for you, to encourage you and to give you hug when you need the most.

So go on, make those tough calls, take those tough decisions and then have faith, have a deep soul moving faith in God that he is on your side always. May be people will not understand but always remember God does understand.

Prayer: Lord when life throws options at me. First help me to feel liberal and grateful that you have given me the amazing power to chose out of your love. Then encourage my heart that you are with me and you are going to bring beauty through this.
